Choosing the Best Group Calendar Solution for JIRA Core Cloud

If you're currently using Atlassian's JIRA Core Cloud solution as a collaborative business management platform for your enterprise, chances are you'll soon be in the market for a calendar application that will integrate with JIRA and Confluence.
So, what's the best calendar solution that integrates with the popular JIRA Core Cloud platform?
A quick search of the Atlassian Marketplace provides several add-on calendar solutions, such as Work Time Calendar and JIRA Calendar Plugin, that integrate with JIRA and Confluence.
The best calendar solution can be selected when it's first determined what features, functions, and capabilities the calendar application will need to have in order to meet our set of business requirements. Once we have documented key business, functional and administrative requirements, the task of narrowing-down the list of candidate solutions becomes significantly easier.
Over the few months, it had become apparent that my current calendaring solution was no longer meeting my needs or the needs of my team of project professionals. After capturing our key business and functional requirements as Agile Epics and User Stories, it became apparent that none of the current Atlassian calendaring solutions would meet our key needs.
What to do?
After doing a Google search for team calendar web applications, I came across the Teamup cloud calendar application, which when coupled with another solution that can embed web-based content in an Atlassian Confluence page, met all of our key business and functional needs.
Thanks to ability of the JIRA Core Cloud platform to seamlessly integrate with external Web applications, the Teamup calendar solution would be a viable application to replace my current calendaring solution.
Now we begin the process of configuring our Teamup Web application for the first production release of our new Team Calendar. In addition to all of the capabilities that our Teamup calendar will provides us with, we are excited that we'll be able to access our Team calendars right from within Confluence or directly via Web access.
A nice solution!
