A lifelong learner and Renaissance Soul, Jim views himself as a constant work-in-progress.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, he is a native of Long Island, residing in Massapequa and Pt. Jefferson. Relocating his family to Conifer, Colorado in 1991, Jim and his family enjoyed the best of mountain living and all that the Denver-metro area had to offer.
In late Fall 2015, Jim moved from Colorado to the Westshore area of Metro-Tampa Florida, motivated by the business climate, friendly people, nearby beautiful Gulf beaches, year-round warm climate and diversity of leisure time activities.
Jim’s twenty-two-year-old son, Dakotah, is a full-time student at the University of Northern Colorado, majoring in music composition and business. Dakotah is employed as the service manager for an authorized Apple computer retailer and is also a freelance Cloud and software application developer.
Jim’s personal interests include sailing, flying and cycling, performing arts, travel and dining out, yoga and meditation, investing and philanthropy.
Active as a mentor and career coach, Jim guides students and professionals in the areas of life design, business and career management skills, and information technology development and management.
For more than two decades, Jim has served as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to C-Level executives, business leaders and stakeholders.
In the role of Project Leader and Business Systems Consultant, he teams with enterprise executives, managers and technical professionals engaged in programs and projects designed to improve productivity and service delivery, scalability and sustainability as well as reduction of risk, management and operational costs.
Through the use of Agile business development and management principles, business process analysis and re-engineering, and the integration of high technology systems and software solutions, Jim develops business and technical solutions that address challenges faced by enterprises in an ever-changing and competitive global marketplace.
His industry experience includes consulting and information technology, entrepreneurship, healthcare, non-profit charitable organizations, federal, state and local government, banking and investing, entertainment, telecommunications and manufacturing.
Active in community service, Jim is an active member of the Rotary Club of Tampa, whose members share his passion to improve the lives of people through healthcare, social, economic, and education-based programs and project initiatives. Jim earned his Paul Harris Fellowship for his contributions as a active member of the Rotary Club of Conifer, CO.
